26x1.75" slicks are probably the worst tires possible in such conditions, no traction whatsoever. they sucked for polo too.

i think we were getting close to giving up at this point.

it's kind of hard to see the translucent ice pellets in these photos.

it devolved into a crappy version of street hockey that reminded me of grade 2.

but that proved pretty tiring too, so we switched to football on the grass below.

the ride home, this time with skinny tires, a lot easier for hauling.

makes me glad that we have the parking garage... now all i need is an underground tube to shoot me and my bike to the garage...and liquor store.

I didn't realize

Heh, amen to that crash, its gonna be a warm dry night up on the 4th floor of our parking garage in Corvallis OR. (as long as the cops dont kick us out).

Last year we were doing field polo when in was snowing, the snow doesnt get that deep here in Oregon, but we did have 20 foot long iced over puddles to blast over!

To be fair, the football was pretty tiring, too. I still wish it would have been tackle, though. And that the Packers would have played with us.
