Doug over at Hardcourt Bike Polo Dot Com has been taking some photos of bikes that are used for polo. I figured i would follow up on this and take some new photos of bikes that we use here in madison. There are a couple more but for now this is what we have. Photo set here

I'm all for sharing info unlike some folks from DC i know. The basic breakdown of most of our polo bikes are strong rims (velocity makes what we use but i would use others if they made em, no brand loyalty here), freewheels are a must, plastic platform pedals, front brakes, old steel bikes. If you click on the photos i have notes that details exactly how the bikes are built and channel through a few photos of them.

Yo go easy on Jonny, he's a mechanic not a photographer. Next time I'm i MAD I'll get some proper "bikes of polo" photos.
