So things are off to a rocking start. We rolled into the polo scene yesterday and played pick up games for about 6 hours. The courts were nuts, super slippery and nice and long. It took a bit of time but things came through well. It was really fun to kick it with all the polo folks. Lots of friends now in the scene and i feel that we are building a nice little community here.
So we played polo today at toronto island, even though it seems that CMWC screwed the bike polo portion of the event by failing to come through with lots of supply we figured out some details at the last minute. Things were hectic today, not really knowing who we were playing but it all worked out in the end. Madison represented well, we all three of our teams playing competitive games. I think that all the teams will qualify for tomorrows bracketed tournament round so that is great. It seems like milwaukee team A was the big winner of the day advancing with winning all their games 5-0. I'm not sure how the qualifications work but they probably will be seeded first and and either madison (kevin, jonny and ben) are going to be seated 2nd or 3rd with Ottawa pulling 2nd or 3rd and new york and east van being tough competition as well. Good times here in toronto, probably won't update too much till monday.
