i went to the bike film fest last night in Toronto and the last short film was a ten-minute compilation of CMWC footage from last weekend by Lucas Brunelle and others. there were only forty seconds with bike polo, but they were all devoted to a spotlight of Birdie, as she stick-handled around, schooled some NYC boys (who looked curiously like Los Marcos), pushed her glasses up on her nose, and generally looking dominant in her bib shorts. it was wicked to see madison represented on the big screen like that.

if only i was heading to the thunderdome to play today to play with y'all.
